((Yeah, still on hiatus. I am so, so sorry but the computer situation hasn’t improved at ALL. I’m currently using my mother’s one which is slow and outdated, and probably wouldn’t be able to support sai. I hopefully should be getting a new one really soon and the moment I do I’m going to start working on some new answers! I haven’t forgotten this blog, I promise

I recently came out to my closest friend about being ftm.. she was.. less than accepting of the idea and tried to play it off as a phase. Do you have any suggestions on how to cope or how to explain it to her? She's the first person I came out to and if this keeps happening I don't want to do it again..

just prove to her that its not a phase, and tell her as your closest friend it would mean a lot to you if she could use the proper pronouns and your preferred name if youve picked out out/are changing it 

and remind her that its not a choice for you to have been born like that

it can be a hard thing to put into words sometimes but saying “im a boy on the inside, in my head, even if im not on the outside” is simple enough

if she continues to refuse to use the proper name and pronouns, or tries to get you to change back then drop her

i know its hard to drop a friend like that but if shes a real friend shed be respecting your wishes and being supportive

and just remember not everyone is going to react like that

some people will react badly others will react well and others may be neutral, just make sure to come out in the safest of possible situations i suggest somewhere semi public so the person cant make a scene

its hard but in the end its going to be worth it

what kind of binder do you use? and do you have any recommended ones for larger chested guys? :) thanks Dave!!

most days i wear this one from lesloveboat it works pretty well for me

and its suitable for sports which is handy since i do a fair bit of running around and shit with bro 

hes also made me a couple when we were sorta short on cash and couldnt buy any proper ones

and on the off days when im not binding to give my chest a bit of a break so i dont keel over and die or something i just wear a couple of sports bras since im small enough for that to work

i have a couple of forum buddies with fairly larger chests and the one i talk to more got this one from underworks

which is good since it works beautifull and sucks his hips in and stuff and if he wants to be even flatter he can just roll it up
